WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - 33-year-old Alicia Ramos on Sept. 18 was arrested in connection to the shooting of two people.
Per the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation near 500 N. 30th Street and officers nearby found a Mercedes-Benz speeding away from the scene and detained the driver.
Meanwhile, the WPD says it got word that two women were at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
The location was processed by CSI and evidence was collected, and Ramos, the driver of the Mercedes, was arrested.
She is being held without bond at the county jail and was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, fail to heed light/siren, resist/delay/obstruct public officers and possession of a firearm by a felon.
