Police still seeking suspect in vicious 7-Eleven murder
It's an exclusive follow-up to a Crime Tracker 3 Unsolved murder case. The family of a man brutally stabbed to death at a local convenience store has come forward.
The December 19, 2005 stabbing was caught on tape. Joshua Sword w
as in the back room at a 7-Eleven store on Sahara and Rainbow when it happened. Metro says the killer was Sword's co-worker Jose Diaz. Diaz has not been seen since.
His family says Joshua should have never been working at that store. He recently moved home from the University of Nevada, Reno to help his family get back on their feet.
"The hardest thing of all of it, is that I sent him there. I said why don't you just go and try to work at 7-Eleven," says the victim's mother Kimberly Hydock.
