Horror of park gang rape

A YOUNG student was gang raped as she tried to flee a group of youths who attacked her partner.

The attack happened after the gang argued with the 20-year-old as she played Frisbee with her boyfriend early on Saturday in a Leeds park.
The gang attacked her 20-year-old boyfriend ' who urged his girlfriend to flee.
Detectives said the gang followed her into a wooded area of Chapel Allerton Park.
She tried to hide in an area off Hillside Road but the gang found her, pinned her to the ground and repeatedly subjected her to a "serious sexual assault".
The ordeal ended only when the woman's boyfriend began s
arching for her, forcing the men to run off.
Detective Superintendent Chris Thompson, leading the investigation, said: "The victims have suffered an horrendous ordeal and are traumatise

d by what has happened.
"This was a brutal assault again
st an innocent, vulnerable young couple.
"It is imperative that we catch their attackers as quickly as possible. We have a team of experienced detectives on this case.
"I am appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Chapel Allerton Park area between 7am and 8am that day to contact us.
"People were walking dogs in the park and jogging in the park around that time and I am particularly appealing for those people to come forward as they may have vital information. Likewise, anyone with information about who they think may be responsible for this sickening attack should ring us immediately."
One attacker is described as about 18, of mixed race with a slender face and black cropped hair.
He was wearing a blue and white bandanna around his head, a white Nike jacket, a gold necklace and had gold rings on his fingers.

He was about 5ft 10ins tall and was wearing a Burberry baseball cap.

is described as black
, with black hair.
