Police seeking public's help in fatal St. Louis shooting

(KMOV.com) – Police are currently investigating a shooting that left one north St. Louis man dead on Wednesday.

The Normandy Police Department responded to a residence in the 7600 block of Bermuda Ct. concerning a shooting.

The victim, Markquett Nunn, 30, was found shot to death. Authorities said officers located his body between two houses.

The Greater St. Louis Area Major Case Squad is seeking the public’s help in identifying the owner of a later model Dodge Durango SUV, gray in color, with dark tinted windows.

Authorities believe the driver and occupants of this vehicle may prove to have information regarding the incident.

Police ask anyone with information to contact the St. Louis Regional Crimestoppers at (866) 371-8477 or via the web at STLRCS.org, you may remain anonymous.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered.

(KMOV.com) -- Two people were shot multiple times while sitting in a car in north St. Louis early Tuesday morning.

St. Louis Police said a 19-year-old woman and 27-year-old man were sitting in a car in the 5300 block of Terry around 12 a.m. when someone in an SUV drove by and started shooting at them.

The woman was shot multiple times and the man was struck in the knee.

They were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

Police did not say if they have anyone is custody.

(KMOV) – Police are looking for four suspects after two men were struck in a drive-by shooting in north St. Louis Sunday night.

According to police, four men in their 20s were sitting on the front porch of a home in the 4800 block of Hammett around 9:45 p.m. when a Honda Accord passed by and began firing shots at the group.

Police said a 23-year-old man who was struck in the upper back was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

A 22-year-old man was also struck in the upper leg. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Authorities said the car was occupied by four men. The search for them is ongoing.

(KMOV.com) – Authorities said a man was found dead after a shooting in north St. Louis on Tuesday.

Police said Jermaine Johnson, 20, was found lying unconscious in the 3700 block of Darby around 2 a.m.

Johnson, who suffered gunshots wounds to the right shoulder and left foot, was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police said they do not know who is responsible for the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.

St. Louis Police said the 27-year-old man was found in the 6000 block of Grimshaw around 2 a.m.

The condition of the victim was unknown.

Police have not released any other information or details for the shooting.

(KMOV.com) -- Three teens were hospitalized after being shot while walking in north St. Louis Monday n ight.

St. Louis Police said the three boys were walking along 1900 block of Biddle around 7:57 p.m. when they heard gun shots.

The victims, all in their mid-teens, were shot in the knee, shoulder and ankle.

All three were transported to different hospitals in stable condition.

Police said they are looking for two other young men they believe are responsible for the shooting.

Police believe the suspects fled on foot.

The reason for the shooting is unknown.

(KMOV.com) -- A man is in stable condition after he was shot while driving with a woman in north St. Louis.

A 28-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were driving near West Florissant and Kingshighway around 1 a.m. when they heard eight gunshots.

The man was then struck in the back and the thigh. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Police said the woman was not injured.

Authorities continue to investigate.

(KMOV.com) -- A woman is dead after she was gunned down inside her home in an apparent drive-by shooting in north St. Louis County late Tuesday night.

According to police, the shooting happened just before midnight in the 2100 block of Chambers near Nolte. Other people were also in the house but there were no other reported injuries.

EMS workers said the woman was being transported to the hospital when she was pronounced dead.

Police on Wednesday identified the victim as 22-year-old Patricia Singleton.

Police at the scene said the shooting appeared to be a drive-by because they found multiple gun shells outside the victim’s home. Police said they believe the shots were fired from the driveway.

Authorities said they do not know the motive in the shooting and have no one in custody.

(KMOV.com) -- A man was shot and killed while riding a motorcycle in north St. Louis late Tuesday night.

St. Louis Police said Anthony Douglas, 21, was riding in the 2100 block of East O’Bear around 11 p.m. when he was shot in the head and chest.

Authorities responded to the scene and found Douglas still on the overturned bike in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they were still looking for suspects.

(KMOV.com) -- Investigators are searching for two suspects after one person was killed and two others injured in north St. Louis Monday.

Authorities said the victims, two male and one female, were outside a home in the 2800 block of Semple when two unknown suspects came from the gangway.

The suspects then shot at the victims and fled on foot through a gangway.

A 33-year-old man was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other victims, a 25-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, were reported to be in stable condition after being shot in the leg.

According to authorities, no suspect descriptions are currently available.

Police say officers were called to the 2000 block of East John Avenue around 7 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene moments later.

(KMOV.com) -- Investigators are searching for two suspects after one person was killed and two others injured in north St. Louis Monday.

Authorities said two men and a woman were outside a home in the 2800 block of Semple when two unknown suspects came from the gangway.

The suspects then shot at the victims and fled on foot through a gangway heading west.

Police said 33-year-old Aldred Marshall was struck in the left and right side of his stomach. He was transported to the hospital where he died a short time later.

The other victims, a 25-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, were reported to be in stable condition after being shot in the leg.

According to authorities, no suspect descriptions are currently available.

(KMOV) – Police are looking for suspects after a 9-year-old boy was shot in the head while traveling in a vehicle in north St. Louis early Wednesday morning.

Authorities said the victim, Tyrese Short, was a passenger in a vehicle traveling south on Goodfellow near Lillian just before 3:30 a.m. when at least one shot was fired into the car.

Police said the boy was struck once in the head. Authorities said the driver of the vehicle then drove to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s north patrol building.

From there the boy was taken to Children’s Hospital in critical condition. He was pronouced dead Wednesday night by hospital officials.

The 22-year-old father of the victim and two other men were in the car when the shooting occurred. They were not hurt. That's nigger coddling for you. The damn niggers are allowed to breed without any restriction. The dead niglet was shat out when da babydaddy was 13(!). No info about age of mammy, but my guess is about the same. :mad:

Police did not release any information on suspects.

The cause of the shooting was unclear.

The investigation is ongoing.

(KMOV.com) -- St. Louis Metropolitan Police are looking for a man connected to a double shooting in north St. Louis City.

St. Louis Police reported two men being shot outside a home in the 5700 block of Goodfellow.

One man ran to a Dollar General Store in the 6400 block of West Florissant looking for help, police reported. The man’s injuries were said to be non-life threatening.

Police said they are searching for a male suspect connected to the shooting.

No word on the condition of the victims.

The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. Saturday.

(KMOV.com) – Police are looking for three suspects they say fired shots during at least four thefts throughout St. Louis early Sunday morning.

St. Louis Police said they are looking for three males in their late teens in a dark-colored van armed with a gun in connection to the four incidents.

Police reported the first incident happened around 2:52 a.m. in the 1100 block of north Taylor. Police said the suspects fired approximately four times.

One victim was shot in the left and was taken to the hospital, according to police. The victim is said to be in stable condition.

Police said the suspects were again involved with thefts in the 4100 block of Bates around 3:45 a.m., then the e 3700 block of south Compton around 4 a.m.

The last incident was reported at 4:45 a.m. in the 2500 block of north Taylor.

Police said the details of the last three incidents are unclear, but police believe the suspects stole personal items.

In all four incidents, police said the descriptions of the suspects are nearly identical.

(KMOV.com) Police have responded to a late night shooting at 7th and Chestnut in downtown St. Louis that has left one dead.

The call came into police just before midnight. According to police, the victim was shot multiple times in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim was shot at multiple times, but not hit.

Homicide detectives are currently interviewing witnesses to determine names, ages and descriptions of both victims and suspects.

The homicide and shooting are not believed to be drug related.

(KMOV) – A man was shot and killed Tuesday night after a suspect opened fire in a north St. Louis neighborhood.

Police say two male victims were sitting on a front porch of a home on the 3900 block of Ashland when a suspect approached them and opened fire shortly after 4 p.m.

Two 20-year-old males were shot, one in the chest and another in the back. They were transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

The victim who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest later died from his injuries. The second victim is still listed in serious, stable condition.

Authorities were able to identify and take the 20-year-old male suspect into custody. Formal charges have not been filed at this time.

The identification of the victims or the suspect were not released.

Further details into this homicide were not immediately known.

(KMOV) – A suspect has been charged with a double shooting that left one man dead late Tuesday night near Fairgrounds Park.

Ralph Cato, 20, has been charged with first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault, and three counts of armed criminal action by the Circuit Attorney’s Office.

According to police, the victims were seated on the front porch of a home on the 3900 block of Ashland when Cato approached and began shooting.

Charles Moorehead, 20, was shot in the chest and transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

A second victim, an unknown 20-year-old, was shot in the back and transported to an area hospital where he is listed in serious/stable condition.

Police say a third person was present but was not injured.

Charges filed against St. Louis man accused of killing over spilled beer

(KMOV.com) -- Police said a suspect has been charged after he shot and killed a friend during an argument over a beer spill in downtown St. Louis early Thursday morning.

34-year-old Stephen Rozier Jr. is charged with second degree murder, first degree assault, two counts armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Authorities said four men were riding in a truck drinking alcoholic beverages near the intersection of Chestnut and 7th when the 34-year-old suspect spilled beer in the vehicle.

Police said an argument ensued and the Rozier, Jr. grabbed a gun and fired several shots at 29-year-old Mario Shackelfold, striking him multiple times in the chest. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said Rozier, Jr. attempted to flee, but another man in the vehicle chased him. Police said Rozier, Jr. then tried to shoot him but missed.

The two began fighting and the second victim grabbed Rozier's gun. A witness who was with the group took the gun from the other man and placed it in the truck until police arrived.

Rozier, Jr. was taken to the hospital and treated for a head injury sustained during the fight but was later released.

The second victim suffered lacerations but was treated at the scene.
