LEBANON, Ohio -- The man accused of shooting his own father and then a deputy in Deerfield Township last month was indicted Tuesday on ten counts.

If convicted on all counts, 19-year Mohammed Abdou Laghaoui could face up to 68 years in prison, Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell said.

The prosecutor also revealed the intial cause of the domestic dispute: the teen and his father were arguing over hummus and fasting for Ramadan.

Deputies said Laghaoui shot his father in the hand and later opened fire Warren County Sheriff’s Deputy Katie Barnes when she responded to the home on June 9. The shootings led authorities on a seven-hour manhunt through Landen.

One of the shots Laghaoui fired from his weapon that night entered a child's bedroom in a neighboring apartment, according to new evidence Fornshell announced Tuesday.
