As per usual no mention of the ethnicity of the the rapists, the victims or the passing motorist - but I can assure readers that the rapists were aborigines and the victims and motorist white.

Five Territorians -- including a 13-year-old boy -- have been charged over the rape and robbery of a teenager in Adelaide.

The 19-year-old woman and her 23-year-old boyfriend were allegedly attacked in a park by the group last Saturday.

It is alleged the five attackers -- ranging in age from 13 to 23 -- jumped from behind bushes and punched the couple in the head and body.

The woman was able to escape but was chased and tackled to the ground by one of the group.

She was held down and raped digitally.

Her boyfriend was told that if he tried to intervene or move he would be stabbed with a knife.

The woman again tried to break free but was again pinned down and digitally raped.

Eventually the five attackers scattered after a passing motorist noticed the assault and drove at them with his headlights on.

Police were notified and quickly cordoned off the area, catching the group within 20 minutes.

The alleged attackers -- including two sets of brothers -- were visiting family in Adelaide from a remote community outside Alice Springs.

All five have been charged with two counts of rape, two counts of assault causing actual bodily harm, two of threatening life and one of aggravated robbery in company.

The four adults were remanded in custody until their next court appearance on March 4, while the 13-year-old b
oy was granted bail for $100 and released into the care of his mother.

Defence lawyers argued the four adults
were entitled to bail as their identification as attackers was questionable, but Justice Gary Gumple refused the request due to the seriousness of the allegations.

The Crown Prosecutor said police are confident they apprehended the right people based on witness descriptions of the clothes they were wearing and are waiting on results of DNA samples collected at the scene.
