WARREN, Mich. (WJBK) -

A Warren family gets home security video of a suspect walking up to the house, taking the bike and riding away. The bike belonged to a friend of the family's who came over to visit.

Brandon Zang says he left the bike along the side of the house Tuesday morning and when he came outside to get it later that afternoon, he discovered it was missing. At first he thought it was a prank until he and the homeowner, Kevin Kreiselmeier, took a look at their home security video and saw exactly what happened.

Click the video player above to see the security video.

The friends took the video to Warren police but were told nothing could be done unless the suspect was identified by name.

Zang shared his frustration with Fox 2's Randy Wimbley. "You reach out for help and you can't get [any] help. That hurt more than seeing the kid ride off with my bike."
