Girl, 14, gang-raped by nine (blacks and arabs)

Nine schoolboy rapists named

NINE schoolboys laughed as they took turns to rape a terrified 14-year-old girl, a court heard this week.

The poor teen was snatched from the street by her attckers -some aged as young as 13 - and dragged into the stairwell of a nearby block of flats in Hackney, east London.

The ringleader, O’Neil “Hitmanâ┚¬ Denton, 16 told her she had to be punished for allegedly “insultingâ┚¬ him.

Stabbed

London’s Snaresbrook Crown Court heard the teenager, head of a gang called the Kingshold Boys, warned if she did not do as she was told she would be stabbed.

Seconds later, after being disturbed by a passer-by, they put her in a headlock, took her to another block and stripped her from the waist down.

“By this time she was very frightened and very distressed and was crying and begging them to allow her to go home,â┚¬ said Nicola Merrick, prosecuting.

“The victim was then raped orally by the boys ... they were all laughing.â┚¬

At that stage another member of the public walked by.

Although the young girl was “too afraidâ┚¬ to call for help, her obvious plight was ignored.

Denton then callously told her she could go and let her get dressed. But no sooner had she run outside than he and Weiled Ibraham, 17, caught up with her and dragged her back.

The barrister told the court by this time two more youths had arrived and together with the others escorted the increasingly distraught youngster to more flats, known locally as the “paedophile blockâ┚¬ .

Other youths were then phoned as Ibraham told her they would all “rape her badlyâ┚¬ . Shortly afterwards her last three attackers arrived.

Miss Merrick said it was clear he and Denton were “controlling eventsâ┚¬ , and, as she was attacked again, “decided which boys orally raped her and in what orderâ┚¬ .

As they did so they shouted encouragement to each other.

“The girl was to later tell police that at this point she broke down... turned to face the wall and wept.â┚¬

Her lengthy ordeal finally came to an end when another member also saw what was happening, but this time intervened.

“They jostled him, shouted at him and told him they were not finished with her.â┚¬

Fortunately, said counsel, it gave her the opportunity to flee.

The court heard, however, the youngster’s ordeal left her so traumatised she attempted suicide.

In a subsequent impact statement she said her “whole world has been turned upside down ...

“I feel like a prisoner, I have to look over my shoulder.â┚¬

In the dock with Denton and Ibrahim, was Yusuf Raymond, 16, who all admitted rape, kidnap and false imprisonment on April 30 last year.

The others before the court - Jayden Ryan, 16; Alexander Vanderpuije, 15, Jack Bartle, 16, Cleon Brown, 15, and two aged 14 and 16 who still cannot be named, were variously convicted by a jury of the same charges.

Earlier, in an application for anonymity orders to be lifted, Miss Merrick said it was “in the public interestâ┚¬ that the defendants should be named.

“Those young people who become members of gangs, should know the outcome of this trial, that they will not mete out punishments as a gang with impunity and not ultimately retain their anonymity.â┚¬

All nine, from east London, will be sentenced on Monday.

The girl escaped only when a 14-year-old boy, a football apprentice, realised what was happening and, ignoring the threats of others, walked her out of the premises. Six of the defendants were arrested within hours, because of CCTV footage, and the rest were in custody within two days. None of the gang, who were of Caribbean, Ethiopian, Moroccan and British descent, showed any remorse during questioning or throughout the six-week trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court.

Two others, who were convicted of rape on the basis that they “aided and abettedâ┚¬ , remain anonymous.

All nine, from East London, will be sentenced on Monday.

First pictures of schoolboys jailed for gang-raping girl, 14, in horrifying punishment attack

Nine members of a braying schoolboy rape gang who carried out a horrifying punishment attack on a 14-year-old girl to were behind bars tonight.

The boys were as young as 13 when they took it in turns to assault their defenceless victim while recording it on a mobile phone.

The rapists were a junior branch of a notorious east London gang known as the Kingzhold Boys.

Ringleader O'Neil 'Hitman' Denton, 14 at the time, ordered his sniggering friends to snatch the girl from Hackney in east London.

Denton forced her to perform oral sex on him, joined by Weiled Ibrahim, 17, 16-year-olds Jayden Ryan, Yusuf Raymond and Jack Bartle, and 15-year-olds Alexander Vanderpuije and Cleon Brown.

The attack was carried out in blocks of flats in Hackney's Frampton Park Estate.

Denton had ordered she should be put through the sexual ordeal as punishment for insulting him to his girlfriend, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.

One of the gang told the terrified victim, now aged 16: 'I can't help you now, I'm with my boys.'

Up to 15 boys were present during the sickening attack and parts of the girl's 90-minute ordeal were filmed on mobile phones.

In an impact statement the victim told how she has since attempted suicide, cannot leave her home alone and constantly has to look over her shoulder.

The nine teenage boys, including two aged 14 and 16 convicted of rape on the basis they 'aided and abetted' the attack, were given terms ranging from two years and five months in secure accommodation to indeterminate terms for public protection.

Judge Wendy Joseph QC sentenced Denton to an indeterminate term of detention for public protection and told him: 'You had power over the others.

'The pre-sentence report points to motives of revenge, sexual gratification and exercising a power over both your victim and your gang.

'Accordingly I sentence you to detention for public protection.'

Judge Joseph ordered him to serve at least three years and eight months before he can be considered for release.

Ibrahim received an identical term to Denton; Raymond received nine years in a young offenders' institution; Ryan was given eight years in a young offenders institution while Bartle, Vanderpuije and Brown were all locked up for six years.

The 14-year-old was locked up in 'secure accommodation' for two years and five months because of his age while the 16-year-old was given three years and nine months in a Young Offenders' Institution.

Nicola Merrick, prosecuting, said: 'This was an enterprise embarked upon because the complainant insulted the leader of a local gang and the victim was punished by that gang for her misdemeanors.

'The victim knew Denton's girlfriend, who would tell her when the couple fell out.

But when they made up, the girl told her boyfriend the victim had called him a 'tramp' and 'ugly'.

Furious about the alleged insults, Denton confronted the victim and threatened to beat her up.

She insisted she had not insulted Denton but he 'was not to be placated', said the prosecutor.

The prosecutor said Denton, Ryan and the 16-year-old who has not been named, cornered her in the street in March of last year and the threats were repeated.

She was so frightened she moved out of Hackney to live with her grandmother.

But when she returned on April 30 last year, her fears became a reality after she left a friend to walk home alone.

Denton snared her seconds later - with Ibrahim, Raymond and Ryan.

Threatening to beat her up and stab her, the boys put her in a head lock and dragged her to a nearby block of flats.

She was crying and fell to her knees as she was forced into a stairwell.

The victim's mother, who was by this time searching for her daughter, saw the disturbance in the street but did not realise her child was involved.

Miss Merrick said: 'It is clear that in the time it took her to go outside she had been kidnapped by the group and dragged and forced into the first block of flats.

'Her mother saw a group of boys - she could see that they were holding someone in a headlock.

'Her mother had no idea it was her daughter and thought it was messing around.'

The girl was then raped orally by the boys as Raymond got out his mobile phone to record the sexual assaults.

A woman passerby walked by just a few feet away, went into her flat and shut the door as the attackers covered the girl with a coat.

The victim said she was too afraid to ask the woman for help.

The group moved to Trandescant House as Ibrabim began summoning more friends to the scene on his mobile.

'The victim knew, of course she was going to be raped again,' said the prosecutor.

'She could hear Ibrahim and others discussing her, saying there were other boys who would rape her badly.

'Eventually 15 boys assembled on the stairwell and she was 'raped repeatedly,' said Miss Merrick.

'The boys threatened her throughout, intimidating her and physically assaulting her.

'Ibraham slapped her face and pulled her hair whilst another banged her head against the wall and someone threw a bottle of water at her.

'She was spat upon, ejaculated on and abused whist she was on her knees in the stairwell.

'She broke down, turned her face to the wall and wept.

'The boys referred to this as crocodile tears.'

She eventually escaped when Brown helped her to leave despite his friends shouting: 'We're not finished with her.'

In an impact statement read to the court the victim said: 'My whole world has been turned upside down.

'Trying to get back to normal has been very difficult.

'I used to have a lot of friends I used to go places.

'I used to like shopping and the cinema and meeting new people.

'I long for all that back - instead I feel like a prisoner having to look over my shoulder everywhere I go.

'Although I used to find the unexpected fun, the unexpected is now frightening and not exciting.' She suffers recurring nightmares and wakes feeling tired.

The teenager said she hates herself for not screaming more or fighting off the rapists but was 'frozen with fear'.

Miss Merrick told the court: 'This self-loathing has caused her to attempt suicide and to self harm.

'She has lost all her friends, she missed a year of schooling.

'Her family relationships have been put under severe strain.

'She is quite clear that it would be a very long time in the future if ever before she is able to deal with this.

'She refers to herself as still in a state - I suspect that's an understatement.

'She still can't go out alone but she has recently started counselling.'

Earlier Detective Constable Jonathan Burks, who led the investigation, explained: 'You have the elder gang members who run the gang and the younger ones who will: A, try to emulate the elders, and B, do what they're told by the elders.'

DC Burks said the Metropolitan Police was cracking down on gang-related violence.

'We the police and the community will not accept gang rule in the community.

'I hope this result provides some comfort to the victim, who went through a hugely distressing and traumatic ordeal at the age of just 14. I commend her and the sheer bravery of the other young witnesses in standing up in court and giving evidence.

'This has been an incredibly complex inquiry and one of the largest scale investigations run by Hackney borough police for many years.

'The others were members of a local group and followed his lead in a pack mentality.'

Ibrahim, Raymond and Denton, all from Hackney, earlier admitted rape, kidnap and false imprisonment.

Jayden Ryan, from Hackney, was found guilty of rape, kidnap and false imprisonment.

Vanderpuije, Jack Bartle, Brown and the two unnamed defendants - all from Hackney - were found guilty of rape and false imprisonment.

All the rape charges relate to oral rape.

Schoolgirl subjected to horrifying gang rape tells how ordeal has destroyed her life

A schoolgirl who was brutally raped and beaten by a gang of nine boys told today how the ordeal has destroyed her life.

The 15-year-old said the ordeal in a tower block in Hackney, east London, has left her without her friends, unable to leave her house for fear of crowds and 'being punished for something I haven't done'.

She told BBC Radio 4's Today programme: 'I can't go out, I can't really do nothing.

'Everything I used to do, like going shopping and ice skating, I can't do that now because of all the crowds.

'I've got a fear of crowds and gangs of people. Everything has changed. I had to leave all my friends behind and school.'

She told how the attack started with a typical teenage conversation with the ringleader's girlfriend.

She said: 'I said to her I didn't think Hitman (her boyfriend) was right for her and that he was a bad influence and she should break up with him.

'And she was saying to me that she don't really like him and she thinks he's ugly and all that and I was just nodding my head, but I never said yeah or nothing like that and she obviously went back and she told him.

'He was angry and before this had all happened he had rang me using her phone and said when he saw me he would beat me up.'

Talking about the day of the attack she said: 'Hitman was standing in front and there were three other boys behind me. Hitman came up to me and was shouting in my face saying 'Why did you say that?'

She told how they snatched her phone and commanded her to come with them. Hitman put her in a headlock and they dragged her to a block of flats.

'They pushed me into the flats. There were these stairs and there was gap under the stair, they just cornered me.

'They asked me to perform sexual acts on them. When I refused Hitman pulled out a knife and put it up to my throat. I was thinking well I don't have a choice really.'

However the attack was interrupted when a woman walked past, so the boys took her to another building.

'They took me up to the first floor and they turned off the light in a little corridor thing so I couldn't see nothing.

'They pushed me up in the corner and were saying again that I had to do what they said.

'When I was saying 'No I ain't doing it, I'm not doing it,' they were threatening me with the knife and the other boy was kicking me.

'They were saying 'If you just do it we'll let you go' and you think they've got a knife, there's four of them and I can't do nothing and that's the only way. I have to do it. So I did what they wanted.'

She told how after forcing her to perform sex acts on them the boys forced her onto the floor and began kicking her while one of them held a knife to her throat.

One of the boys also began filming the attack on his mobile phone.

She said: 'I was begging them saying please I'm still a virgin and the Somalian boy said you're ain't gonna be one any more are you?'

A woman walked past, but the boys told her that if she asked for help they knew where she lived and would come back for her.

She told how after forcing her to perform sex acts on them again the boys let her go, but in a cruel twist pursued her again and told her they were only joking and she couldn't leave.

They then forced her to Hackney's Frampton Park Estate, where they called other boys join in the attack.

She told how at this point a boy she didn't with a knife know joined in: 'He said 'I don't even know you. I don't have no feelings for you so I can stab you up.' I didn't really know him and I didn't want to take chances anyway so I had to just do what all they wanted.'

The young victim described how at one point she spotted an acquaintance, who she hoped would rescue her. Instead he joined in the assault.

She said: 'After everyone had got what they wanted, they moved away and I saw this boy sitting on the stairs that I knew, so I went up to him and I was like 'Can you help me please?'.

'He just looked at me and laughed in my face and he asked me what I was doing here and I said 'I didn't want to be here, they brought me here'. And he said 'Ugh, you're a slag, you deserve to be here'.'

She pleaded with him for help but she said his response was: 'No, I can't, I'm with my boys now.'

Her ordeal was finally brought to an end by a boys she didn't know.

She said: 'Every time I tried to pull my head way they smashed my head against the wall. Then this other boy asked me if I was alright.

'I said no I want to go home and he said come on I'm taking you home.'

One of things that haunts the girl about the attack is that there were several times when passer-bys could have intervened, but they did nothing to help her.

She said: 'You just think that people will help you when they see something bad going on but then you realise that they don't really.

'I was walking down the street with them and crying, but people just looked at me and turned away.'

Cleon Brown was sentenced to 11 years in prison for his part in the murder of father-of-six Saul Murray in February 2022

Cleon Brown was sentenced to 11 years in prison for his part in the murder of father-of-six Saul Murray in February 2022

Who is Cleon Brown?

Cleon Brown was part of a AFRICAN NIGGER gang that targeted father-of-six Saul Murray with the intention of robbing him in a honeytrap scam.
He travelled with Ikem Affia, Surpreet Dhillon and Temidayo Awe to Murray's address in Luton with the intention of stealing some Rolex watches.
The two women were seen on CCTV entering Murray's property.
Dhillon made intimate advances towards Murray, and after sharing brandy, spiked his drink with date rape drug GHB.
After this failed to have an effect, Awe left the property to get the two men.
After she returned to the flat with the two men, the gang were then seen on CCTV leaving the property, with one clearly brandishing a knife.
Murray was found dead the following morning having died from blood loss as a result of being stabbed in the thigh by Affia.
Police were able to find the culprits after using GPS tracking information to locate their car.

They were also able to find them due to a rare jacket worn by Affia, worth £1,300, which he had been seen wearing in a takeaway restaurant days before the murder.
The designer jacket was one of only 69 sold, and police were able to locate him from this.

Where is Cleon Brown now?

On March 3, 2023, Brown was handed an 11 year sentence for manslaughter and nine years for conspiracy to commit robbery
It is not currently known what prison he was sent to.
Affia was given life imprisonment after being found guilty of murder, as it was him who fatally stabbed Murray. He will serve a minimum of 25 years.
Dhillon was given 10 years in prison for manslaughter and 10 years for conspiracy to commit robbery to run concurrently, after she attempted to drug Murray, before calling Affia and Brown in when the plan went wrong.
Awe was sentenced to seven years for manslaughter and six years for conspiracy to commit robbery to run concurrently.

Life in prison for honey trapping murderer identified through designer coat

By Anna Ellis • 04 March 2023 • 12:04

A murder suspect identified through a designer coat worth more than £1,300 has been jailed for life, Bedfordshire Police have now confirmed.

Ikem Affia, 31, was one of four people involved in a plot to drug and rob 33-year-old Saul Murray [BLACK] in Luton last year after seeing images of him on Instagram wearing Rolex watches.
Mr Murray’s body was discovered with stab wounds at his flat in New Town Street in the early hours of 27 February 2022.
Affia was identified as the main suspect in Mr Murray’s death after detectives were able to piece together his movements using CCTV and vehicle telematics.

They found the Moncler coat he was wearing matched the coat seen on the CCTV footage from Mr Murray’s flat at the time of the offence.
Three other people, Cleon Brown, 29, Surpreet Dhillon, 36, and Temidayo Awe, 21, were also handed prison sentences on Friday, March 3, after they were found guilty of manslaughter and conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the incident.
Dhillon had initially contacted Mr Murray via Instagram, continuing the conversation on WhatsApp before agreeing to meet up the day before his death.
Dhillon and Awe were identified after they were captured on CCTV entering Mr Murray’s flat with him just before 11.40.PM. Fast track forensics linked a glass left at the scene to Dhillon, whilst phone data showed that Mr Murray had called her via WhatsApp before her arrival at his flat.
Awe was seen leaving the flat shortly before 2.30.AM, whilst Dhillon propped the communal door open with a broom, so Awe was able to later return with the two men.
The two women left together around 20 minutes later, with the two men not far behind. CCTV showed that one of the men, now known to be Affia, was carrying a large knife as he left the building.
Mr Murray was then seen running towards the door before he lost consciousness and collapsed.
A post-mortem examination revealed that Mr Murray had died from blood loss caused by a knife wound.
Detectives carried out further phone work which placed Brown at the location at the time of the incident, with him having made contact with Dhillon around the same time.
Additional footage confirmed that a Mercedes Benz, which was seen acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Mr Murray’s flat, had been hired by Brown.
Brown is also seen on CCTV using a vacuum cleaner to clean the Mercedes at a petrol station in London after the offence had taken place. He is wearing the same jogging bottoms as in the CCTV from Mr Murray’s flat.
Further CCTV from a fast-food restaurant in London showed Brown and Affia together, with Affia wearing the same coat that was seen on the CCTV footage at Mr Murray’s flat.
Vehicle telematics placed the Mercedes at Affia’s home address before and after Mr Murray’s death.
Information from the coat manufacturer revealed that at the time less than 300 of these coats were available in the UK, with just 69 being sold online. One had been sold to Affia’s partner and delivered to his home address the previous year.
His Honour Judge Simon KC told today’s sentencing hearing at Luton Crown Court that it was a senseless conspiracy to rob.
All four were sentenced to the following, having previously been found guilty at trial:
Ikem Affia, 31, of Shore Place, London was sentenced to life in prison for murder and will have to serve a minimum of 25 years. He was also sentenced to 14 years for conspiracy to commit robbery to run concurrently.
Cleon Brown, 29, of King Edwards Road, South Hackney was sentenced to 11 years for manslaughter and nine years for conspiracy to commit robbery to run concurrently; a total of 11 years.
Surpreet Dhillon, 36, of Carnarvon Road, London was sentenced to 10 years for manslaughter and 10 years for conspiracy to commit robbery to run concurrently; a total of 10 years.
Temidayo Awe, 21, of Saunders Street, Gillingham was sentenced to seven years for manslaughter and six years for conspiracy to commit robbery to run concurrently; a total of seven years.
Detective Inspector Dale Mepstead, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: “This was clearly a planned attack; facilitated by Dhillon and Awe and carried out by Affia and Brown.
“It’s obvious from the way the two women used a sedative substance on Mr Murray and the fact Affia was armed with a knife that they were prepared to get what they wanted at any cost – which sadly was Mr Murray’s life.
“This was a very lengthy and complex investigation, which involved scrutinising hours of CCTV, phone data, vehicle telematics and other evidence to place each of them at Mr Murray’s flat at the time of the offence.
“I hope that the knowledge that all four people involved in this horrific incident will be locked up for a very long time can bring some justice to Saul’s loved ones.”
This case is set to be featured in 24 Hours in Police Custody later this month.
