updated January 10, 2014 at 6:33 PM
BEACHWOOD, Ohio — A Euclid man is facing first-degree felony charges stemming from an armed robbery outside the Beachwood Place Mall.
Police say they arrested Robert L. Martin, 22, who was charged with first-degree felony aggravated robbery in Shaker Heights Municipal Court. He is being held on $750,000 bond and is scheduled for an initial appearance on Tuesday.
Martin robbed a woman at gunpoint about 11 p.m. Dec. 23 outside Saks Fifth Avenue at the upscale mall.
Police say they arrested Martin Thursday at a hotel in Willoughby. Investigators say they were able to track Martin after he used the woman's ATM card. They released the man's photo and received several tips, police said.
Reports say Martin stole the woman's purse, passport, credit cards, driver's license and house keys.
