Cops: Spic Tries to Molest Girl in Department Store

TUSTIN -- Police are seeking the public's help in locating a man who exposed himself and attempted to molest a child.

Officers say the suspect exposed himself to a girl in a Marshall's department store just after 5 p.m. on September 7th.

Neither the suspect nor victim has been identified at this time.

Surveillance cameras in the store captured the act.

The suspect is identified as a Male Hispanic, 20-30 years old, 5'4", weighing approximately 170 lbs.

At the time of the assault, the suspect was wearing a black, printed t-shirt, baggy jeans, with an earring in his left ear.

He was seen driving a gray, Dodge, pickup truck with a partial plate of "4FX".

Girl Escapes Attempted Kidnappers in Lancaster

LANCASTER -- Two men have been arrested for allegedly trying to kidnap a 13-year-old girl in Lancaster.

Victor Morales, 26, and Jose Torrento, 37, of Lancaster were arrested late Monday night and booked for attempted kidnapping, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The attempted kidnapping occurred around 8:40 p.m. Monday near Seventh Street East and Avenue I, according to the sheriff's department.

The girl told deputies that a man approached her and tried to pull her into a red vehicle, but she broke free and ran away.

A short time later, deputies stopped a red vehicle in a shopping center parking lot at Challenger Way and Avenue J and arrested the suspects, who were identified by the girl, the sheriff's department reported.

Morales and Torrento were each being held on $100,000 bail.

Pair of illegals charged with statutory rapes

Illegal immigrants charged with statutory rapes at trailer park

KSDK -- The Warren County Sheriff's Department is investigating two separate cases of statutory rape that occurred in the same trailer park.

The first case was initially reported in June of 2007 by the mother of the juvenile female victim but there was not enough evidence to make an arrest until recently. The second case was reported on January 13th by the mother of a second juvenile female victim.

While investigating the second case, detectives learned the identity of the suspects in both cases. They are 24-year-old Jose Toledo-Perez and 23-year-old Benito Sanchez-Castro. Both are from Wright City.

Toledo-Perez is charged with first degree statutory rape and second degree statutory sodomy. Sanchez-Castro is charged with first degree statutory sodomy and first degree statutory sodomy.

Investigators said the two suspects were friends and the crimes in both cases occurred at the same residence in the Three Shamrocks Trailer Park in Wright City. Sheriff Kevin Johnson said the suspects became acquainted with the victims by hosting parties and supplying them with alcohol.

Investigators determined both men are living in the country illegally, and they have been reported to the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement who have placed detainers on them.


Sheriff Harrison said that normally these crimes would result in deportation of the two out of the United States upon final disposition of the criminal cases pending against them.

School Custodian Accused of Fondling Two Girls

LOS ANGELES -- A school custodian is accused of fondling two students in the girl's bathroom at Moffett Elementary School.

Bernard Lobjois, 57, of Hawthorne, was arrested by Special Victims detectives around 9:35 a.m. on Feb. 13, authorities said.

Lobjois is accused of sexually assaulting two girls, ages 7 and 8, at the school at 11050 Larch Ave. in unincorporated Lennox.

The first alleged incident occurred on Dec. 10, when the girls were accosted by the suspect in the girls' bathroom, Sgt. Diane Hecht of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau said.

jois fondled both girls over and under their clothing, threatening to harm them if they told anyone, and slapped the older girl in the face, Hecht said.

On Feb. 10, the 8-year-old was again confronted by Lobjois on entering the girls' bathroom, Hecht said. He fondled her chest and groin area over her clothing, struck her in the face when she tried to get away, and threatened to harm her family if she reported him, she said.

After the last incident, the 8-year-old's mother noticed a mark on her daughter's face, and the girl reported both incidents, according to Hecht.

Lobjois was booked for lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, cruelty to a child, and criminal threats, Hecht said.

Suspected attempted kidnapper arrested in West Valley

WEST VALLEY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - He’s a suspect in an attempted child kidnapping, and now he is in jail.

West Valley police arrested Alberto Alejandro Guadarrama after the Salt Lake County Sherriff’s office tied evidence from the scene of an attempted kidnapping to him.

In January, police say a make entered a bedroom in a West Valley home, covered the eyes and mouth of an 11 year old girl on the bottom bunk.

He ran when the girl’s friend turned on the light.

Elgin man charged with sexual assault on teenage girl

ELGIN - An Elgin man was charged Wednesday with sexual assault for allegedly impregnating a teenage girl.

Miguel Sarmiento-Parra, 30, of the 300 block of Brook Street, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault, a Class X felony, and two counts of criminal sexual abuse, Class 2 felonies.

The victim told authorities at the Kane County Child Advocacy Center that she began having sexual relations with Sarmiento-Parra when she was 13 years old and eventually became pregnant. The girl, now 14, gave birth in August 2008, authorities said.

Sarmiento-Parra, is unemployed and in the United States illegally, police said
. He reportedly told police the girl originally told him she was 17 years old. But after finding out her real age, he continued the sexual relationship with her, police said.

According to the police synopsis, the Sarmiento-Parra began a sexual relationship with the girl in September 2007 and admitted to fathering the victim's child.

If convicted, he could face up to 60 years in prison. Sixteenth Judicial Circuit Associate Judge John A. Noverini set bail at $300,000 and set his court date for June 5 at the Kane County Judicial Center.

A 30-year-old convicted sex offender was arrested today after he allegedly followed two sisters, 14 and 11, while they went to school Wednesday and again this morning.

Armando Sanchez, of the 8100 block of Forest Street, was arrested this morning for annoying or molesting a child younger than 18 and driving with a
suspended license, both misdemeanors. Sanchez is a registered sex offender, according to police, but he did not show up on the Megan's Law Web site, which tracks California sex offenders.

About 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, two girls reported that they were being followed by a Hispanic man in his mid-20s driving a white Ford Explorer or Jeep Cherokee without a front grill, police said. He followed them on the 7600 block of Hanna Street - between Third and Fourth streets - at least three times, slowing down each time to smile and give the peace sign to the sisters as they walked to their separate schools.

After the third loop, the man made a U-turn and drove northbound on Hanna Street toward the girls, who were walking in that direction. They crossed the road during his maneuver, though, causing the man to keep on driving, police said.

When the older sister kept on Hanna toward Brownell Middle School just a block north, she told her younger sister to stay close to a woman and another young
girl walking west on Third Street toward El Roble Elementary School, which sits about six blocks west from that location on Wren Avenue.

Before the younger sister could make it to El Roble, though, the man drove by again - nearing her for the fifth time - and actually stopped near Third and Rea streets. According to the 11-year-old, who notified school officials who called police, the man stepped out of the SUV and yelled in English, "Don't run. I'm not going to do anything to you."

"She was obviously spooked by this, so she picked up her pace to catch up with the adult in front of her, and when he saw this, he drove away," Sgt. Jim Gillio said.

Then, about 8:20 a.m today, one of the girls saw Sanchez near Brownell Middle School, police said. Officers responding to a call about the incident noticed a white Toyota SUV without a front grill. They followed it and stopped it near the intersection of Fourth and Church streets.

Officers brought one of the sisters to the scene,
where she identified Sanchez as the man who followed her, police said.

Man accused of travelling to Florida for sex with teenage girl

Largo, Florida - Pinellas Sheriff's deputies have arrested a 43-year-old Georgia man, charged with several counts of Lewd and Lacivious Battery on a Minor and Travelling to Meet a Minor.

Investigators say Manuel Willis came to Florida on three ocassions to meet with a 14-year-old girl after the two met through a social networking website accessed through the cell phone.

Detectives say they arrested the suspect as he attempted to meet the teen for a third time this year, but was instead met by an undercover detective.

Investigators say in April of 2009, the girl's father became aware of the out-of-state cell phone charges on his bill and contacted the Sheriff's Office.

Tampa, Florida - Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a 42-year-old man, accused of touching a young girl's breasts when he was a pastor at Potter's House Church on McRae Road.

Detectives say the incident happened in March 2007 and the 12-year-old victim was a church member.

Jose A. Dossantos is charged with Lewd & Lacivious Molestation.

Investigators say Dossantos has confessed to the allegation.

A teen was sexually battered at Wet 'n Wild, Orlando police say.​

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A 14-year-old girl was sexually battered Saturday at Wet 'n Wild, according to Orlando police.

Police said the girl was attacked "inside the pool area" of the park, which is located on International Drive.

Police said the gang intervention unit was on special detail at the park when they saw a man carrying the girl out of the pool.

The victim told police a group of men tossed her around and tried to remove her bathing suit
and one of them sexually battered her. She said she was able to punch one of the men in face and at that point someone picked her up and carried her out of the pool.

One of the men was described by police as a Hispanic dark-skinned male with a medium build and long, dark hair. The victim told police she could identify this man.

Another man was described as light-skinned and wearing a baseball hat with the letter "P" on it.

Orange County deputies have arrested a man accused of molesting three girls at Sea World's Aquatica theme park.

Police said 23-year-old Joshua Fuentes inappropriately touched three girls -- ages 12, 13, and 14 -- at the water park on Saturday, all in the same way.

Fuentes denies any wrongdoing.

Police said a parent told an off-duty sheriff's deputy at Aquatica that two of their children -- ages 12 and 14 -- and a family friend were inappropriately touched in the Roa Rapids area of the park.

Fuentes has been charged with lewd and lascivious molestation.

Sea World issued a statement saying this was an isolated incident and that t
heir thoughts and sympathies go out to the family.

SAINT CLOUD, Fla. -- A man accused of molesting girls last month at Aquatica -- SeaWorld's Orlando water park -- was re-arrested Tuesday for violating the terms of a previous charge, police said.

Joshua Fuentes, who was out on bond on drug charges when the Aqua
tica incident allegedly occurred, was arrested Tuesday night and is being held on no bond.

Fuentes is accused of inappropriately touching three girls -- all under the age of 15 -- in the Roa Rapids area of the water park on June 27.

The incident was not captured on surveillance video, but Fuentes was arrested on lewd and lascivious charges and released on bond.

He was re-arrested Tuesday night.

"We could not be happier. Our initial reaction was jumping up and down, yelling, 'He's in jail, he's in jail,'" said the mother of two of the girls.

She said other parents should be on alert.

"Things like this can happen, even when you're there. I was like 3 feet from my daughter," said the girls' mother, who did not want to be identified.

The woman said her girls remain upset about the alleged incident and are behaving differently.

"The girls are all pretty withdrawn since the incident happened. We are seeking counseling for all of our (daughters),"
she said.

The mother said she hopes more cameras are installed at Aquatica.

Latrino Targeting Blond Teen Girls in Manassas, Police Warn

Manassas City police are warning residents about a man who has twice tried to abduct blond teenage girls who were walking to a community center pool.

Investigators handed out flyers Wednesday morning in the area, warning of the two incidents, which happened about three weeks apart.

"That's scary that that could happen right here," said Michelle Bloomquist, who lives in the area.

The most recent incident happened about 1:40 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. A 16-year-old girl was walking to the Wellington Community Center on Clover Hill Road near Strawflower Lane when a man in a blue minivan pulled up. The man got out of the vehicle, grabbed the girl by the arm and said, "Get into the car!", police
said.

The girl broke free and escaped unharmed.

About three weeks earlier, in the early evening of Saturday, June 13, a 15-year-old girl was walking alone in the 9600 block of Cloverhill Road -- a few blocks from the other reported attempted abduction. The girl told police she noticed a dark blue "van or truck" parked on the street with a Hispanic male sitting on the passenger side with the door open and his feet hanging out.

The victim told investigators she made eye contact with the man and kept walking. She said after about "10 steps", she felt arms grab her by the waist and try to pull her back.

The victim kicked the man, who released her. She ran to the community center.

The assailant and vehicle descriptions roughly match, police said.

"We have the same description of the suspect, same vehicle description, same area where the girls are walking. The physical description of the two girls are the same," said Manassas City police Captain Arthur Dennis.


Twins Katelyn and Amber Goodfellow, who live in the neighborhood, find the assailant's apparent predilection disturbing.

"I think it's sad that people would try to kidnap others and I think people need to be careful since that's happening," Amber said.

Katelyn added, "I'll probably be more cautious where I go by myself and I'll make sure that I have a cell phone with me in case something does happen."

The second victim described the assailant as a Latino male, in his late 30s to early 40s, with black, crew cut-style hair. He wore a black tank top, blue jeans and had tan Timberland-style boots, police said. The girl also said the man spoke English well.

The first victim added the assailant was about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and 150 pounds.

The man's van was described as dark or navy blue, possibly a Dodge Caravan, with a red pine tree air freshener hanging from the rear view mirror. It had tinted windows on its rear half.

HOUSTON -- A middle school student said she was nearly abducted near a Fort Bend County school, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.

Deputies of the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said the attempted abduction occurred Thursday at about 12:30 p.m. in the 16000 block of Bissonnet, near Hodges Bend Middle School.

The 14-year-old victim was walking home from Hodges Bend when she was approached by a man driving a green Toyota truck. The abductor offered her a ride and when she declined, he exited the vehicle, grab
bed her arm and demanded she get into his vehicle, she said.

The victim was able to fight off the abductor and run for help.

The man is described as Hispanic with a dark complexion, between the ages of 30 and 40, approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a thin build, black-spiked hair, and a black and gray mustache.

He was wearing sunglasses, a white muscle shirt and baggy blue jeans.

The vehicle he drove was described as an older-model green single-cab Toyota truck with a long scratch located on the lower part of the tailgate, just above the license plate. The first character of the license plate is a 2 and the last character is a 4.

Some neighbors of the area where the near-abduction took place said they are guarded after the incident.

"You are supposed to feel comfortable and safe at home, but nowadays you can't really go out and you always have to worry about your family. It's not like the old days when you can let your children run around. That's
sad," said Charlotte Johnson.

Garfield man, 34, charged with sex assault of girl, 13

GARFIELD — A Garfield man, 34, has been charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly videotaping a 13-year-old girl with his cellphone while she was nude. Noel Garcia, of 20 Maple St., also has been charged with one count of invasion of privacy.

On Tuesday, the victim told detectives that Garcia had videotaped her while she was nude and that Garcia put his hand inside her shirt and fondled her in 2007. Both alleged incidents occurred in Garfield. Garcia was being held at the Bergen County Jail with bail set at $500,000.

Allentown man charged in teen girl's rape

A 51-year-old Allentown man is in jail today on charges he raped a 14-year-old girl along River Street in Bethlehem yesterday, police say.

Lino A. Vasquez of N. Seventh Street is facing charges of rape, unlawful restraint, statutory sexual assault and simple assault, according to Bethlehem Police Department.

The rape allegedly happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. yesterday along Riverside Drive in Bethlehem.

Police said Vasquez was taken into custody last night and is being held in Northampton County Prison on $500,000 bail.

Police arrest man for allegedly groping girl

A Bethlehem man who police say had smoked marijuana and taken psychedelic mushrooms has been charged with indecent assault after allegedly groping a 16-year-old girl last night on W. Union Boulevard.

Police said they received a report around 11:18 p.m. of a man stumbling down the street, pushing over a parked motorcycle and trying to break into parked cars. Police found the man, Felix D. Orta, 21, of E. Seventh St., as he tried to cross W. Union Boulevard, where he was almost hit by several cars.

Orta has been charged with indecent assault without consent, disorderly conduct, aggravated assault, resisting arrest and public drunkenness. He was sent to Northampton County Prison on $25,000 straight bail.
